El Bulova Marine Star Series C 98B421 representa el lado técnico de la colección: una caja de acero inoxidable de 43 mm en tono oro rosa, una esfera marrón con patrón de ondas y el movimiento de cuarzo de alta frecuencia Precisionist de Bulova. El segundero de barrido continuo es la pista definitiva, mientras que un bisel de medición con inserto cerámico, cristal de zafiro antirreflectante y corona roscada aportan el equipamiento de un reloj deportivo.

Su resistencia al agua es de 200 m y el reloj viene acompañado de una correa de silicona marrón. Si lo comparas con un Marine Star automático, la diferencia es sencilla: el 98B421 prioriza la alta precisión y el bajo mantenimiento del cuarzo frente a un movimiento mecánico.
