The design of our Lunar Pilot travel alarm clock is inspired by the Lunar capsule instrument used in the Apollo 15 trip to the Moon. The plaque base in which the removable alarm clock rests features an engraving plate that notes the exact location the Lander was left in the Sea of Tranquility along with a Bulova-made timing instrument that was used to capture scientific data for years after the landing. Overall dimensions with clock in plaque 1.4” H x 4.1” L x 3.1” W Alarm clock (separate), 2.4” H x 2.4” W x .75” D. LR44 battery included. The clock and plaque come nestled within a sateen black liner in a Bulova presentation box. Printed on the outer package is a map of the moon that shows the exact location of the Bulova instrument.
