Bold, fearless, and ready for anything! A very special collaboration between G-SHOCK and the Toyota Auto Body Team Land Cruiser inspired by this veteran of the toughest race in the world, the Dakar Rally. Built to withstand all the mud and dust your adventures can bring, the G-SHOCK MUDMASTER is the ideal canvas for a collaboration with a car this tough. Add in forged carbon bezel components and a carbon core guard structure for a smaller, lighter watch, and you’re ready to take on the harshest of terrain. Designed to evoke the Land Cruiser after an intense day speeding across the desert, the band features a mud and sand splatter pattern. Laser engraving on the black ion-plated stainless steel bezel and buckle carry the motif even further. Accents like the blue, white, and red team colors and the logo on the band and case back pay tribute to the toughness of this machine, always ready to take on the most challenging of environments. Team Land Cruiser, Toyota Auto Body Team Land Cruiser at Toyota Auto Body Co., Ltd., a Toyota Group manufacturer of minivans, commercial vehicles, and SUVs, has participated in the Dakar Rally every year since 1995.

G-SHOCK, the watch that brought the new concept of toughness to the timepiece.
It began with a reckless challenge to the conventional wisdom of the day, a developer’s belief that it was possible to construct a watch that wouldn’t break, even if dropped. Project Team Tough was formed to build it in 1981.
The team created over 200 prototypes one after another over a period of about two years. They finally arrived at a shock-resistant structure. This marked the birth of a technology that is tough to the core.
And G-SHOCK has continued its unceasing evolution ever since, in pursuit of greater toughness in every respect, from structure and materials to functions. Today, the development team’s passion for challenge and constant efforts have reached fruition in Triple G Resist, a structure with the strength to withstand 3 types of gravitational acceleration.
