Available only in a controlled-run of 5,000, with the production serial number engraved on each caseback, this exceptional Limited Edition blends the finest in Japanese mechanical watchmaking with superior craftsmanship and design. Celebrating the fresh spirit of the 1960s, this design is an homage to Seiko’s 1964 “Crown Chronograph,” Japan’s first watch with a stopwatch function. The dial inherits the original layout, color, and finish while the bracelet features a combination hairline and mirror finish and look and feel similar to the 1964 model. Framed by a black bezel, the light beige dial includes a date calendar and LumiBrite hands and markers. The screwdown see-through caseback provides a view of the 23-jewel automatic movement with manual winding capability, a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of approximately 41 hours.
