Bulova makes history again by transforming the Archive Series Lunar Pilot Chronograph to celebrate another major milestone – the music legend Nile Rodger’s 70th birthday. As a nod to the ‘Space Race’ history with which Nile grew up and is fascinated with, the new Limited Edition ‘We Are Family’ Lunar Pilot Chronograph is a commemorative reissue of the Bulova watch worn on August 2, 1971 during the Apollo 15 mission. With only 70 pieces made, this must-have watch is inspired by the original featuring our proprietary high-performance quartz movement with a frequency of 262 kHz for unparalleled accuracy. Designed with a sandblasted solid 316L surgical-grade stainless steel case in silver-tone with a black dial and featuring luminous hands and markers, a tachymeter, and anti-reflective sapphire crystal and finished with a custom case back marked “HAPPY 70TH NILE!” with guitar and individualized number, set on a textured black leather strap. Bulova is proud to partner with Nile Rodgers to bring you this collector’s watch that is exclusively ours.
