Our take
If you like the look and functionality of a complicated watch but don’t want complicated ownership, this is where the AT8260-51M gets interesting. The dial has plenty happening, but much of that technology is working to make the watch easier to live with. It’s precise, practical and just technical enough to reward a second look.
Best for
Someone who wants serious functionality and accuracy with the feel of a traditional watch, not another screen on their wrist. The sky-blue dial also gives this one more personality than the usual black-or-navy technical watch.
Know before you buy
At 43mm, this isn’t a small watch. And the dial is intentionally information-rich. If you want minimal and quiet, this probably isn’t your Citizen. If you like a watch that gives you something new to notice every time you look at it, that’s exactly the point.
