Citizen Ursula Disney Villains Boxed Set GA1075-68W

Ariel's stolen voice is the central idea behind this Disney Villains boxed set. A conch shell sits at 6 o'clock with tiny crystal bubbles floating upward, a reference to the shell necklace Ursula uses to hold Ariel's voice in The Little Mermaid. Ursula's dark silhouette fills the black dial beneath purple hands, while teardrop-shaped crystal markers at 3, 9 and 12 add an appropriately theatrical touch.

The 30 mm black ion-plated stainless steel case has a faceted bezel and matching bracelet with a push-button fold-over clasp. A mineral crystal protects the dial and date display; Citizen's Eco-Drive caliber J015 runs on light. The caseback carries Ursula's line, “You got it sweetcakes. No more talking, singing, zip.” The boxed set includes a collectible pin.

Our Take

The conch shell is the detail that tells Ursula's story without needing to explain the entire film. The purple hands and almost-black silhouette make this an unusually restrained, character-rich villain watch.
