Seiko Prospex Automatic Diver SRPE99

Seiko's Prospex SRPE99 puts PADI's recognizable red and blue onto the rounded case collectors call the “Turtle.” PADI is a scuba-diving training organization, so the collaboration makes sense on a watch built for diving rather than just borrowing an ocean-themed color scheme. The blue dial and red-and-blue unidirectional bezel give the edition its character; the bezel also lets you track elapsed time.

The 45 mm stainless-steel case and bracelet house Seiko's automatic 4R36 movement, with hand winding, a day-date display and approximately 41 hours of power reserve. Luminous hands and markers, a screw-down crown and caseback, 200-meter water resistance and ISO-compliant dive-watch construction complete the package.

We like how instantly recognizable the red-and-blue bezel makes this Turtle. The partnership feels at home here: beneath the color is a substantial mechanical dive watch with the features you'd expect from a Prospex.
