Seiko Prospex Sea Diver HBB002

Seiko's Prospex HBB002 celebrates two milestones: PADI's 60th anniversary and ten years of collaboration between the diving organization and Seiko. A globe motif borrowed from PADI's logo spans the blue dial, with small red accents at six o'clock and on the seconds hand. A blue ceramic bezel insert completes the maritime palette.

This 45 mm stainless steel automatic diver uses Seiko's 4R36 movement, with day-date display and approximately 41 hours of power reserve. The unidirectional bezel measures elapsed time, while LumiBrite on the hands, markers and bezel helps you read it in low light. A sapphire crystal with a date magnifier and anti-reflective inner coating protects the dial. The steel bracelet has a secure-lock clasp, and water resistance is rated to 200 meters.

Our Take

The globe pattern is a more specific tribute to PADI than simply adding its name to the dial. The blue-and-red details make the anniversary connection clear without distracting from the diver's practical layout.
