Timeless elegance is effortlessly combined with advanced GMT function in the luxurious, new Wilton Automatic timepiece from the Bulova Classic collection. This traditionally styled watch features an innovative, new automatic movement with the ease of setting the hour hand to another time zone without affecting the accuracy while traveling anywhere in the world – and the dual time can be read at glance. The sophisticated design of the silver-tone stainless steel case showcases a blue 4-hand GMT dial with a calendar, Roman numeral markers, and an anti-reflective, domed sapphire crystal. The GMT hand’s luminous tip is bordered in a tone to match the color of the “GMT” printed on the dial and works with the bi-colored dial ring with a 24-hour indication to mark the 2nd time zone. The dial features a World Map with the land area raised in a cd groove texture with latitude and longitude coordinates also raised over the sea. The black embossed alligator grain leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching, nubuck lining and double-press deployant buckle closure completes the richly elegant feel. This watch’s self-winding 24 jewel automatic movement ensures optimal performance and features a 42-hour power reserve making it the ultimate timepiece for world travelers and fine watch enthusiasts alike. In 1875, just as America was entering its golden age of industry and progress, one visionary leader would rise to ignite a series of iconic moments in our nation’s history – and transform the way the world perceived time.
Fueled by the era’s risk-taking ethos, Joseph Bulova presented one innovation after the next. Ultimately opening a small store in downtown New York City that would mark the beginning of his lifelong quest: to craft supreme quality timepieces for an ever-changing and dynamic landscape.
With an unwavering drive for perfection, efficiency and precision, quality craftsmanship became the foundation upon which Joseph Bulova built his brand. But what fueled the brand’s continual progress was its spirit of invention - pursuing innovation and technology both within the timepiece industry – and beyond.
