The Guardian is a Luminox Navy Seal Foundation edition with a small but meaningful detail at six o'clock: the Foundation emblem is finished in Super-LumiNova so it glows in the dark. The edition is limited to 961 pieces worldwide, a nod to 1961, the year the U.S. Navy Seal Teams were established.

The 45 mm CARBONOX case has a unidirectional timing bezel and a Swiss quartz movement. Luminox Light Technology keeps the time display illuminated, while the glowing Foundation emblem adds a separate visual signature to this edition.

Our Take

We like that the tribute is built into the watch itself. The luminous emblem and 961-piece run give this Guardian a more specific story than a standard military-inspired colorway.

Founded in 1989, Luminox built its identity around watches designed for exceptional readability in low-light conditions. In 1992, the brand began working with the U.S. Navy SEALs to develop a watch suited to demanding night missions, leading to the Original Navy SEAL series. That focus on visibility, durability and purpose-built design continues across Luminox collections today
