The 42.5 mm stainless-steel case and bracelet house Seiko's automatic 4R36 movement, with hand winding, a day-date display and approximately 41 hours of power reserve. A unidirectional bezel, luminous hands and markers, curved Hardlex crystal, see-through caseback and 100-meter water resistance complete the watch.

Our Take

We'd choose this one for the checkerboard bezel. It has the charm of a vintage racing graphic without turning the entire watch into a costume, and the red-orange seconds hand is a great finishing touch.
